Help with SWIFT code

Hell brain trust,

We have never transferred money to Thailand and are unsure about the SWIFT codes. My wife uses  Krung Thai bank and looking it up on the internet shows "KRTHTHBKXXX" as the swift code and KRTHTHBK as another option.

Is this correct?  Is there any other code? Should there be the branch code like we use BSB number in land downunder?

All guidance will be helpful.

Thanks a lot Nick. I was going to use XE.com's site for transfer and it did not ask for Branch. I will give it a try with KRTHTHBK which shows the branch to be in Bangkok

If you can use WISE, you will get a much better rate and no swift codes are required.  https://wise.com/

I and many farangs in the Buriram/Surin are use WISE (formerly Transferwise) regularly and have no problems. The money sent often arrives within minutes, depending on the amount sent. Once you lock in the exchange rate, the amount shown is the amount received by your Thai bank

Thanks to the advice above, I have used WISE now on several occasions and it works like a charm. See you all in September when FINALLY my TW and I  will be travelling to Buriram.

Would like to update my experience with Wise.  Previously, transfers started on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday or Friday from USA would finally arrive about Tuesday.
Recently, transfers begun on Wednesday morning US time, arrive Bangkok Bank in 2-10 SECONDS.
