I had a routine appointment today at Buriram General Hospital.

While there I was offered a vaccine jab.

Happily accepted and bish, bash, bosh - all done.

No queues, no hassle. Thank you Thailand.

Return September for second dose.

So I have changed from only when forced, to have had it.

This is Bob Manthey. When I spoke face to face last Wednesday with my wife's primary physician at the Buriram Government Hospital she was clear that patients, both Thai citizens and non-citizens over a certain age would be given AstraZeneca as a matter of course. At the hospital that day, people UNDER a certain age would be given Sinovac.  The Doctor also stated that selected medical conditions could change what a person would receive at the Buriram Government Hospital. There were over 10 "Farang" names on the list to receive vaccinations at the Buriram Government hospital on Tuesday according to a fellow expat, under the age of 60 who received his vaccination yesterday. He had reserved a "place on the list" the previous week at the Buriram Government Hospital. He was able to receive a Buriram Government Hospital card based on his USA passport. Different day, different experiences, as Dimple Joe, was able to be offered the vaccination and receive it with no prior arrangement. Much the same as my personal experience was not the same as some other expats on the quest to obtain the vaccination in the Government system.

I didn't ask and didn't care what was on offer.

Just happy to avoid the long hot queues at the stadium.

They were canvassing around the hospital drumming up business.

Checked the paperwork and find I was given..............

Maybe you are right, but I don’t believe he had a real opinion on the subject.

I don’t think it was a coincidence that he started posting about the dangers of vaccines immediately after I posted June 29th that I’d had it.

As for the video, just like the figures, graphs and charts from governments ‘experts’ and the media - I don’t believe any of it.

I dont know him but if you read his previous his views they were always abit anti MSM / anti vaccine  . He may well have done what you have suggested ......who knows ?  But he was aggressive in his replies to anyone that doubted what he said was true  :)

Thats your choice . I'm of the view nobody knows what the outcome will be in 5 years time ? Even you posted a meme " Did you or one of your loved ones take the vaccine ? If you look into some  the vaccine suppliers track records it could be closer to the truth than you realize. list here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_pharmaceutical_settlements
Also you have to ask yourself why so many scientists and doctors are at loggerheads over pandemic measures and vaccines.Like most things in life it should be down to people making their own risk assessment on what drugs/vaccines they put in their bodies. As for the Covid vaccines I'm not telling anybody not to take it if thats their choice but personally I'm still not sure , so I think I will wait a bit ;)

It seems that one of the main worries about some vaccines is the possibility of blood clots, the odds vary but it appears between 800,000 to one and 200,000 to one chance of having one. For those doubters ask yourself a question, if I had an arthritic hip or knee and needed surgery so I could walk again what would I do, have replacement surgery or be in pain and unable to walk properly for the rest of my life.

You are told before this surgery that the likelihood of a blood clot is 100 to 1 for knees and 200 to 1 for hips. I have had two replacement hip operations and the choice was a no brainer, so the odds for clots after covid vaccine don't seem that bad, shorter odds just to walk again and longer odds to possibly help you live longer.

At the end of the day it is down to the individual, for me the choice was easy, I have had my first two jabs and provisionally booked for a booster in October.

You are totally correct ...... people should be able to make their own risk assessment on what they do or have put into there bodies .

To quote Herbert Spencer "survival of the fittest".

Judging by worldwide figures from many sources, the fittest appear to be those who are vaccinated.
