TV Repair

Can anyone recommend a good TV Repair shop. I have a large flat-screen TV that is not working. Indications are that one or more of the back-lights have failed (ie has sound but black screen). It should be an easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing

Last time I had a TV with failed backlights I was quoted 22,000 to replace so I bought a new TV.
That was around 4 years ago on a LG.

Truth is that it is a cheap and easy fix. The most hassle is taking the thing apart to get to the lights

Had LCD and LED TVs repaired successfully at a repair shop opposite the day market taxi park near the Chinese Temple in Buriram. Look for the washing machines outside.

Not sure if this will help but I had an LG from Buriram Home Pro shop and it too went blank in under 9 months and they got it repaired. It is still working 2 years later. They may be able to give you a contact for tv repairs. Hope you have some good luck.

I lost the back lights on a LG at 13 months so warranty expired. Maybe just unlucky but I?ll never buy LG again.
It was the LG repair Centre in Buriram that wanted 20k plus to repair.

Samsung and LG have "repair centers" for those brands. In Buriram, Sharp, Toshiba, Panasonic, Hair, TCL, and a host of brands, for Television, small appliance and large appliances your best bet is to first go to the "authorized" warranty repair facility. YJ Electric. This is also the Mitsubishi appliance, air conditioning, and fan repair facility. They are the repair facility for all those brands a/c units and for several hot water heater brands including Stiebel Eltron. I have personally had over two dozen items repaired, including a 12-year-old Onkyo Stereo receiver, a 15-year-old Samsung a/c unit, a cordless microphone, a 12-year-old LG flatscreen TV, scores of kitchen appliances. including Krupps, and Tefal, to my complete satisfaction. They check serial numbers and are genuinely helpful if you have the warranty card and receipt for free warranty repairs. Most of the repairs they did for me were not covered under a warranty, yet the price was never a shock. They also will order genuine air conditioner remote controls.  I have seen a truckload of flat screens arrive from a major Buriram appliance retailer to have the TV's repaired at YJ Electric. 081-725-4667.   Easy to find on Highway 288, just past the Buriram Agricultural College.  https://goo.gl/maps/XGTAjikWZqtNnLvX6      There is a smaller TV repair shop not far from Paddy's irish Pub to consider for non warranty repairs.
