In need of a vet to sort out a puppy problem. Now I am ultra stupid so you will need to give me as much info on where to find them as humanly possible. If you say something like soi Krassang  then I will be none the wiser. I really don't know anywhere in Nang Rong.
Thanks if you can help.

There is a good vet in Nang Rong.  Coming from Bang kok you turn left at the main traffic lights. If you turn right you will see the post office on your. left and a little further down on your left is the Bangkok Bank.
Do not turn right but turn left at the lights, you are now on the Lamplimat road. 50 meters on your right is the vet.
Good luck.

Talking about Vets.

Anyone knows what approx the costs are for a spay??

What is a spay?

Quote
A ?spay,? or ovariohysterectomy, is a veterinary surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia. It involves removal of the female dog's uterus and both ovaries through an incision made in the abdomen. A spay can also be performed laparascopically (usually with ovariectomies).

And any recommendations for a vet in the Buriram (Muang) area that can do this procedure?

Prices will vary greatly depending on bets and whether they apply Farang pricing
However, I still travel from Biriram to Lam Plaimat for my dogs treatment and have recently had one of my bitches spayed for 1500baht including after operation medication and stitch removal.
I still travel because this particular guy is really good and after trying more expensive vets in Buriram I?ve now returned to him and it?s well worth the travel.
3 of my 6 dogs have now had surgery and all recovered perfectly. His suture work is excellent and their recovery from anesthetic also excellent.
His location is the small car park area right at the end of town by the last rail crossing. If you enter Lam Plaimat town from the main road lights. Bangkok bank on right and 7/11 on left turn left. Go to the end of the road and his surgery is on the right hand corner.

Thx Freddy, it?s for the dogs of my BIL, and he prefers one in the Buriram (city) area. He would rather go to Krasang, but the only vet there has closed up shop.

Thx again, appreciated

Thx Tassie,

but the directions you posted where NOT for me (but for Thai Bart who made the OPENING POST) as I asked for a Vet in the Buriram Area (in this same thread Post #4) and it's for my BIL and he doesn't want to drive that far he would even prefer it even closer (then Lam Plai Mat) if he could find it.

No probs!

On hindsight I should have opened my own thread about a vet in the Buriram area to avoid confusion (but I was lazy 55555555)

I prefer to get recommendations and I got none for any Buriram Vets.

There supposed to be one near Big C (according to my wife) but I have No IDEA if they are any good.

The one I take my pets to is close to the bus terminal. From the main road turn as you were going to the bus terminal and pass the bus terminal on your right. As you go further the road makes a sharp right. From there about 200 meters or so the vet is on the left. Orange signage I believe. They have done very well for us and will work with you as far as bringing medication home for multiple pets ( we have 8 and she has seen them all) fixed five cats and one dog so far. Taking the two female pups to her in a couple weeks.

I am very pleased with service and outcomes.
