Last week I was on a trial run with my newly purchased first wheelchair.

My wife watched as I crossed from the disabled bays in Robinson's car park to the Tops entrance ramp.

While struggling to power myself with my arms, I was forced to stop by a large SUV which had no intention of slowing down or stopping for me.

I told the driver what I thought of him using my best 'Parade Ground' voice.

Rather than take my side; my wife scolded ME for being impolite.......
