It will be interesting to hear if SI does send out a team to investigate you after all these years you have been on a marriage extension.

They did say that even though I have been checked before ......as I have been on Non Imm 'O' for the last 5/6 years ( I did tell them I changed over to a Non Imm O  as I didn't want to bring money to Thailand as the exchange rate had plummeted  ) that I must be vetted as any new applicant .I guess the same would apply if you left the country without making a re-entry permit . As for the house number , my wife's House book,my House book and my DL all have our/my address with the house number on it  , the Yellow House book was issued after I had the local police officer and the Village head man all vouched for my good standing in the Village at the local Amphur   .So you would think that would be enough ,but its their rules and we must comply  biggrin1

I have no doubt you have a splendid understanding of how things work at SI the problem is the noobs only have their bar stool.

Or themselves to blame . I was laughing to myself and cringing at what some of the local expats were coming out with yesterday. One German guy turned up without a mask on and when one of the IO's told him to put one on he said " it was his wife's fault he didn't have it on as she hadn't reminded him to do so " he then spent the next 3/4 minutes reprimanding her whist his 90 day report was being done.  chairhit  .What a life she must have
There was loads of other incidents whist I waited for 3 hours that kept me quietly amused

I have just put up our New House Number , 400 Baht from a local shop.

BTW..It's hasn't been vandalised already . I just blanked it out for obvious reasons, the last thing I want is to have my address plastered all over the place by a local Sisaket TROLL

They came today , everything was fine and a few photos were taken . The Village Headman is away ATM so 2 of his Deputies supplied any paperwork and info needed. ( One is my Wife's Cousins and the other is one my local Fishing buddies  )

The SI Investigation Team said all should be fine for my early July visit to SI to get my new yearly stamp  biggrin1
