'foul mouthed Australian' was a statement of fact.

I confess, I really don't understand your problem.

You complained because you are Australian.

If I had later said 'childish foul mouthed Australian', again factual.

Would you complain again, because you were once a child?

I'm starting to doubt you are Australian, unless you've had a sense of humour bypass.

Maybe it is an elaborate set up for April Fools day.

All the drama of Pandora's Box and the ensuing appalling consequences, doesn't ring true,

I have my own views on this Corona Virus malarkey ,hope i'm not called a 'Covid-denier' and attacked by the mob  redman

https://off-guardian.org/2020/03/24/12-experts-questioning-the-coronavirus-panic/

This is much more scary than the virus

take the trouble to read this

It is like the global mega panic on the run up to 2000

but at least then we had a point when we realised it was all rubbish

Here is wikipedia on Thai COVID-19 deaths      https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_coronavirus_pandemic_in_Thailand

8 deaths so far ....the one that died yesterday had diabetes, Intestinal cancer and Hepatitis B, but was put down as a COVID-19 death !! ...as was most of the others that died , nearly all had other underling symptoms .Like the first Man that died had dengue fever and ended up dying of multiple organ failure and one with TB .!!!

Sweden no lockdown
While swathes of Europe's population endure lockdown conditions in the face of the coronavirus outbreak, one country stands almost alone in allowing life to go on much closer to normal.
But as Swedes watch the rest of Europe grind to a halt, others are starting to question their country's unique approach.
"I think people are prone to listen to the recommendations, but in this kind of critical situation, I am not sure that it's enough," says Dr Emma Frans, an epidemiologist based at Swedish medical university The Karolinska Institute.
Dr Emma Frans says history will be the judge of which politicians and scientists around Europe have made the best calls so far.

I'm doing as I'm told BUT that doesn't mean that I agree with the route many/most Countries are taking. If I had an underling medical conditions then I would be very worried , and that would include catching numerous viruses ( Flu ) and infections ( not just Covid-19) that could lead to me dying  ....but when your times up "your times up"
Are Sweden talking the right approach ???...time will tell !!

Higher temperatures affect survival of new coronavirus, pathologist says
Some have suggested the possibility that weather factors might affect the virus ? particularly the intensity and amount of hours of sunshine as well as heat and humidity. ?Obviously, the virus is something we?ve never dealt with before, but if we look at other viruses ? they all had their peak during the cold season,? said AccuWeather Founder and CEO Dr. Joel N. Myers.
?The statistics all show that they breed and survive longer when it?s cold and dry,? Myers said. ?So, when it?s warmer and more humid and there?s a lot of sunshine, the statistics on all of the others show a virus is less lethal, it spreads less efficiently and less effectively among humans.?
Dr. Joseph Fair, a virologist, epidemiologist and infectious disease specialist, suggested sunshine is a critical factor in subduing the virus.

Thailand reported 127 new coronavirus cases and one death on Tuesday, a health official said.
On Monday the country reported 136 new infections and two deaths.
Tuesday's announcement raises the number of confirmed infections in Thailand to 1,651 since the country's first case was reported in January. Ten people who tested positive for the coronavirus have died.
Bangkok topped the list of confirmed cases with 796, followed by Nonthaburi (79), Phuket (55) and Yala (48), permanent secretary for public health Sukhum Karnchanapimai told a press briefing at the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration.
The centre said 61 provinces have reported virus cases.

Something more serious;)

People have reported that alcohol sales will be banned from tomorrow till April 16th.

Anyone heard about that?

https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1156739-alcohol-ban/
I think this is true but it?s up to each individual province. This
has already happened in Sakon Phanom, I think

It's official now, our regular store where we buy Beer and Lao Khao has told us that they can't sell alcohol anymore till April 30th.

As I doubted that, we went to our local Mom & Pop Shops (3) and they all said the same thing.

Different lockdown news items affect us all in different ways

No alcohol ? me no problem, teetotal for 30 plus years
Others ? I feel your pain a little bit, but I see the coffee mugs

No hairdressers ? me problem, starting to look like a cross between Grizzly Adams and Chewbacca
Others ?  no problem, most bald as a coot

Greta Thunberg positive for coronavirus ?  me YES  party14
Others - ???

Arrest of party goers in Phuket
? me Comedy Gold  :D

]Fourteen drunk party goers were arrested including three British men, an Australian man, one American man, one Ukrainian man, three Ukrainian women and five Thai women.
The Australian national was Al-Mouzafar Mohamad, 22 and the American was Russell Robertson, 32. The Ukrainians were Zakharov Andrii, 27, Petriv Tetiana, 22, Chala Anasiia, 22, and Semko Iana, 31.
Police Colonel Aekanit Danpitaksars said the 14 revellers were remanded in custody while the case is processed and they can be sent to court.
The police chief said: 'Initially, they will be charged for violating the royal state of emergency act by gathering in a crowd in a small space and possessing schedule II and V drug.'

Did he keep a straight face saying this after crowding them into a small space?
Others - ???

I think I am exempt from the recent directive regarding the use of nationality in posts, as I was quoting from the Newspaper.

I suggest the use of Pomgolian as an acceptable alternative to "British"  party15

Another 562 people have died of the coronavirus in New York, as the state?s health crisis deepens. Gov. Andrew Cuomo declared people ?are going to die in the near term? due to lack of beds and ventilators in hospitals.
