Personally I think there are several factors to this:-
- Regardless of whether it is law or advice it seems to me that those who choose to keep there restaurants open for customers to sit and dine are putting their own income above what is the sensible thing to do.
- yes it is a requirement that people need to eat but this can be achieved by operating a take-away service only. Grab delivery is cheap. I don?t accept the public service angle being used as a defense.
- we are all bored at home and would all like to go out and socialize over a meal. But.....it isn?t sensible to do so currently.
- Farang restaurant owners should consider the potential impact to all of us, should any Covid 19 cases and real or perceived spread be traced back to their establishment. Why do something to stoke the ?Dirty Farang ?myth. We all have enough challenges living here.

You assume I would report them, for your info, I am not in tbe habit of reporting wrongdoers, but if, as you say, they are doing the right thing, why have you reacted so strongly?

I have not reacted strongly at all.

You are the one using words like "dickhead", "moron" and "ffs".

I merely suggested that, as you do not believe what I say, why not report the restaurant owners to see what happens. If they are breaking the law, as you suggest, they will be shut down and fined heavily. If they are not breaking the law., as I pointed out., they will face no punishment.

Meant for dimple joe not alans. Is it necessary to add foul mouthed Australian to your comment?

Tassie
I invite you to re-read some of the posts
54 snide remark about flouting of the emergency 'rules'
56 I put forward a contrary view (no insults, just the normal jovial banter between adults)
57 the toys fly out of the pram - words like ignorant and f&?k off! appear
59 he cannot shut up and reveals he has recently returned from Australia

therefore 'foul mouthed Australian' was a statement of fact, not an insult

he continues throwing out insults and foul language to all and sundry in 61, 66, 70, 74 and 76.

Hiding in your pit in Buriram after flying around catching and spreading god knows what, does not give you moral superiority.

You need to be here for a while before you lecture on "rules"

He does not need your support Tassie, but he does need help

Dimple Joe,
As an Australian, I do not like to be likened to the character of a loud mouthed Australian.  I find that comment unworthy of reasonable debate. If you stick to the debate without bringing nationality into it, would serve your comments better.
Alans, you have reacted by using offensive language as well into your comments which of course continues the negativity.
Freddy says it best.
Life is far too short. I hope all of you and your families get through this pandemic unscathed.
Don't quit this forum.
Regards

Tassie

I am sure you are like my Australian golfing pals, Lindsay and Martin.
Both quiet spoken, fun loving, decent blokes, Martin sorely missed since his passing.

I am equally sure you cringe reading the ramblings of this oaf, your countryman.

The word I used was foul not loud
