Police visit's info shared (positive)
« on: September 12, 2019, 06:15:50 PM »
Yesterday, my GF got a phone call (her phone listed within IO) from Nang Rong police asking if I am available as they want to see me. 30 mins later 4 people came on a truck and politely asked to see my passport. (They've got a long list of addresses as well). Did not go inside of the house. Since they did not have uniforms I asked for the Police ID with the respect. One of them gave me his ID card. GF verified, yes NR PD. Opened first page only, took a picture with me holding it. Asked my GF how long I stay in this place and if I work anywhere/anyhow. First visit in 1 year+, polite, calm, lots of smiles.

I had one a few weeks ago but only 1 Cop. Very similar. My wife wasn?t here. Asked for passport so gave that along with Thai ID and yellow book. Took pics of all. 5 minutes and gone.

I had a visit in Lahansai yesterday. Three local police officers, wanted a picture of my passport and a picture of passport and me. No issues took about five minutes. We were at a local restaurant having lunch when they called my wife and they met us at the restaurant. I had to run home (2 minute drive) to get my passport.
